Viska banner image

I hope that you can help?

I found that the code for the Parallax header does not work as it does in your demo. I managed to get the image to resize but I am struggling to get the same behaviour that I see in your demo. In the first instance, I managed to get the image to scale but it did not centre.

I have been editing and managed to get the scaling to work (at least in a better way) so now it resizes for different displays. the problem that I have is that the image still does not scale in the same way as your demo and instead leaves a lot of white space.

I have noticed that the demo site uses a div id of ‘banner', whereas the version that I downloaded uses a class of 'fullscreen-media image’. I have checked the CSS and it appears to use different rules.

My home page is http://www.mywebvault.co.uk (temp URL). Could you possible take a look at my source with a web inspector and point out where I have gone wrong?

BTW: I have rechecked the downloaded files and the behaviour of this area is definitely different from your demo page, the image does not centre.

I hope that you can assist. Your theme is awesome by the way :-)

Hi,
You can not add tag <img> into <div class="fullscreen-media image"></div>
You have to search to line:

.fullscreen-media

in file style.css
then add attribute:

background-image: url();

(url is your image link)

Hi, it does not seem like you read my message. The files delivered via Themeforest do not work in the same way as your demo. This is the same case whether the background image is declared inline or within the css. The rules for your demo site are not present within the downloaded version and the behaviour is very different. I have actually got a closer approximation of the original behaviour within my own version (inline) and I am requesting assistance getting the full behaviour from your demo. If the only way is within the CSS, please can you show me what is wrong with the downloaded files that is preventing it from centring properly (as in your demo)?

I fixed the problem by myself and I would like to confirm that the files that you deliver after purchase do not work as expected.

You can not add tag img into div class="fullscreen-media image" /div

This is also untrue and merely represents laziness on your part. I have this working. The problem was not the implementation that I was using, rather the implementation of your template.

Thank you for your complete lack of support.

I have encountered the same issue with the header/banner not centering. Do I need to re-download the template? I purchased it 9/27/14.

Also, any thoughts on getting Parallax to work on mobile iOS? I've come across some work arounds, but thought I'd ask first.

Thank you.
