Hello,
Some sliders, such as slideshow (http://wordpress.org/plugins/slideshow-jquery-image-gallery/) are able to use the Photon CDN that is bundled with Jetpack.
This allows all the images to load from WordPress servers, greatly decreasing load speed and strain on hosting server.
Please implement this feature in a future version.
